Who said Christmas is the festive season? We seem to be in the midst of fest season right now, so we will be sprinting on the hour in chat if you want to join us. Not sure when I will be in, but probably about 6 GMT.

Also, I forgot about tomorrow being the final Saturday of the month, which was to be our Merlin catch-up day for anyone who was unable to make any of the re-watches thus far this month. It is a bit late to announce it now, but that is what I am doing: We will begin watching 1X01 at 9:00 PM GMT, one hour earlier than our usual re-watch time. We will take a brief break between episodes, but not a long one.

Dear

kitty_fic suggested I post here about the episode rewatches that are happening (very very slowly!) over on Merlin Locations.

Merlin Locations, as you may already know, is an LJ community -

merlinlocations - and a website focussing on the beautiful and intriguing locations in which they filmed our beloved show. Inevitably we're also interested in other behind-the-scenes things, such as the cinematography and our gorgeous cast, as well as in the Arthurian legends. So you'll find a fair range of topics being discussed.

The community and website all grew in a rather haphazard manner, so I always had in the back of my mind that at some point I would start all over again from the very first episode, and watch it scene by scene to consider the locations and see what we've missed along the way. This takes quite a bit of time to get even close to right, so it's been a rather slow process. In fact, so far I've only done three episodes! I hope to keep it going on a more regular basis, however, so please come and join in the fun.
