I say Merlin, you say…: Once upon a time I would have said pointy hat! Now I say he is my heart and he and Arthur belong together.
Favorite Merlin moment: There are so many, really, there are, but I do love it when Gwen kisses Merlin because it is just so sweet and Merlin, poor thing, has NO clue that Gwen has been pining for him since episode one!
Your thought when seeing Arthur for the first time: He is CUTE, but not gorgeous like Merlin (It has been a long time so I am not sure about most of my first thoughts, but this one I do recall!)
I say Arthur, you say…: ROYAL PRAT
Favorite Arthur moment: When he goes and gets the flower for Merlin in 1X4 <3
Your thought when seeing Gwen for the first time: She is adorable!
I say Gwen, you say…: It is too bad Merlin only had eyes for Arthur because you and he are adorbs together!
Favorite Gwen moment: Every scene with Merlin!
Your thought when seeing Morgana for the first time: Oh, so she is the baddie? She sure is pretty!
I say Morgana, you say…: Why oh why can't she have stayed like she was in s1 for all five series?!
Favorite Morgana moment: When she and Gwen went to Ealdor to help Merlin.
Your thought when seeing Uther for the first time: He was JUST DOING MAGIC!
I say Uther, you say…: If only Ygraine had lived...
Favorite Uther moment: When he carries Arthur in the series finale. Such a poignant moment.
Your thought when seeing Gaius for the first time: I don't think I am going to be able to have him and Merlin get together! (You see, I was a huge Snarry shipper so I wondered if maybe i could do that to Merlin and Gaius... Erm NO. That would be a HUGE NO!)
I say Gaius, you say…: Thank you for being there for Merlin!
Favorite Gaius moment: When he talks to Merlin in the first epi after Merlin asks if he is a monster.
Your thought when seeing the dragon for the first time: Oh, this should be fun!
I say Dragon, you say…: Manipulative but somewhat wise
Favorite Dragon moment: The first time Merlin meets him.
Your thought when seeing Baby Mordred for the first time: Aw he is adorable!
I say Baby Mordred, you say…: OMG it is that little boy from The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (begins crying fit). How can this sweet little innocent boy one day kill Arthur?!
Favorite Baby Mordred moment: Well, it is not him per se, but when his boots tiptoe across Morgana's room <3
A scene you wish they would have included: I have always wanted the scene after Merlin says he is the sorcerer in 1X3. I want to hear Arthur's reaction to Merlin after they leave.
Favorite series one moment: The scene in 1X13 where Merlin and Arthur have the talk before Merlin goes off to 'sacrifice himself.'
Any other thoughts about series one that you would like to share?: I LOVED s1 so so so so much and wish the characters could have all stayed innocent like they were here (yes yes yes, I know.... but I still wish it lol!)
When did you watch Merlin for the first time?: I think it was June 20, 2009. And that night I wrote in my live journal: I will not write Merthur, I tell you. I will not do it! Famous last words hahaha!
Rate the episodes from favourite to least favourite: Why did i even ask this question? How in the heck am I meant to rate them?! 1X4 is my fave. Beyond that... I might come back and edit, but for now I am tired of answering my questions! I am sorry for asking SO MANY!

Favorite Merlin moment: Looking out window of his new home in Camelot at night, eyes full of wonder (despite all the murder and mayhem)
Your thought when seeing Arthur for the first time: Pretty! (And of course ripped like 50 Cent :P)
I say Arthur, you say…: Helloooo
Favorite Arthur moment:Whenever he tries arguing with, then winds up defying his father for the sake of what he thinks is right and/or the people he cares about. Also the fight scenes, esp. that broomstick battle with Lance. For reasons >_>
Your thought when seeing Gwen for the first time: Pretty!
I say Gwen, you say…: I'm sorry about your dad. You're too good for this kingdom (but it's better with you in it).
Favorite Gwen moment: Teaching Merlin about armour; measuring Lancelot scene; battle of Ealdor prep scenes, esp. when she's calling out Arthur on his manners; the scene with Merlin in 1x12 about not mourning Uther when he's gone vs. putting him to death as an act of revenge
Your thought when seeing Morgana for the first time: Pretty!
I say Morgana, you say…: TELL HER SHE HAS MAGIC YOU COWARDS
Favorite Morgana moment: Donning trousers and battle jewelry to go help Merlin in Ealdor. Also pretty much every scene where she's butting heads with Uther over his tyranny. And it's more of a state of being than a moment, but can I add: Looking gorgeous whilst sleeping/unconscious/having terrible visions?
Your thought when seeing Uther for the first time: Giles! Giles in a crown? *watches him execute one of his own citizens* Ohhhh, not Giles.
I say Uther, you say…: Something very impolite. (But he does know know how to rock crown-of-the-week, throw an extravagant feast for one, and find new and creative ways to be a dick to friends, family and enemies alike, so I'll toss him some evil kudos)
Favorite Uther moment: Because it's fresh in my mind - that time he nearly threw out his back carrying his son's limp body across the courtyard. Also like whenever we see him in a non-Uthery part of the castle, like Gaius' or Arthur's rooms.
Your thought when seeing Gaius for the first time: Why do you have a rabbit mask in your workshop?
I say Gaius, you say…: Saucery!
Favorite Gaius moment: Whenever he's extra sassy with Merlin, especially during meals. Blue caftan days. The scene with Uther where we learn the circumstances of Arthur's birth.

Favorite Dragon moment: Let's face it, Kil doesn't get out much so his scenes tend to be very similar, so apart from the novelty of when we (and Merlin) first meet him, I'm going with the one in the series finale where he's extra ragey and shouty and tries to turn Merlin into an ambulatory kebab.
Your thought when seeing Baby Mordred for the first time:Awwwwwwwwwwwww….oh dear.
I say Baby Mordred, you say…:I'm sorry. You deserved better too, but after all these years, Chat has poisoned me against you.
Favorite Baby Mordred moment: When they establish the mind speaking thing with Merlin. Also when he got Morgana an expansion of her chambers - that was super sweet of him ;-)
A scene you wish they would have included: Omg where do I start?! Except. You know what? No. That's what fic is for. I do wish there'd been an entire ep after 1x10 though that was just the OT4 having some sort of adventure on their way back to Camelot where the conflict that needs resolving isn't about fighting/leading in the traditional sense, so with Arthur not in his wheelhouse and Merlin grieving Will (and still hiding his magic) Morgana and Gwen get to shine somehow.
Favorite series one moment: I can't do just one, in case that's not obvious by now, but I'll try to keep it to 3: Camping scene in 1x10 when Merlin makes spark dragon before Arthur turns up; scene in the cells when Gwen delivers the antidote flower to Arthur; Merlin and Arthur
awkward magical poison Princess Bride wedding ceremony preceded over by a Unicorn herderscene at the seaside in 1x11. Oh, and the first time Merlin sees Arthur really strutting his stuff in the tournament and starts to cheer for him. That's 4. Oh dear.Any other thoughts about series one that you would like to share?: I've rambled on enough, I think! But a huge THANK YOU to MK and everyone in the chat who help me fall in love with this series (and then roll my eyes at it) again every time. What a gift. <3
When did you watch Merlin for the first time?: *squints into the mists of memory* 2009 or 2010, I think? I recall watching some sort of all-day/weekend re-airing of S1 in the States before the start of S2 and was like, this is delightful and bonkers and MORE YES PLEASE
Rate the episodes from favourite to least favourite: Can't. I mean, I always think I know which ones would go where, but with every rewatch I am reminded that some of the eps I think I don't like as much had some truly brilliant scenes in them, and some of my faves had some dumb plot holes and emotional/character development "reset" button moments that suck. That said, purely from a Merlin & Arthur's relationship development angle, I'd choose eps 3 (Arthur willing to defy dad for servant, combining talents to fight the Afanc), 4 (willing to die/kill for another pt. 1), 9 (forging destiny! Uther seeing how loyal Merlin is to Arthur ), 10 (Arthur defying dad again to help Merlin, treating him more as an equal,
meeting the in-laws) & 13 (willing to die/kill for one another pt. eleventy-four) above the others.no subject

I say Merlin, you say…: A baby! He's just so young and happy in the beginning and I love him :D Poor guy has no idea what's waiting for him in the future and he's so hopeful ;-;
Favorite Merlin moment: Oh man another hard question. There are SO many! I guess I'll go with the "how long have you been training to be a prat, my lord" one again, although I'm having a hard time deciding between this one (because it's just funny and amazing) and the "I'm happy to be your servant till the day I die" one (because it's so beautiful and sad)
Your thought when seeing Arthur for the first time: And here's my favourite prat! :D (And he needs Merlin in his life!)

Favorite Arthur moment: I was gonna say the one where he finds out Merlin wants to return to Ealdor and tells him that he was the worst servant in 1x10 but then I remembered the one where he tells Merlin that he's glad he's there with him on the shore with Anhora in 1x11, so, one of the two. OH WAIT or the one where Merlin's trying to tell him about his magic in Ealdor before the battle in 1x10 and Arthur helps Merlin with his forearm armour?? Why am I like the most indecisive person
Your thought when seeing Gwen for the first time: SHE. IS. SO. CUTE. Pure. Adorable. Awkward. Young. She doesn't know what's coming in the future. Oh GOD.
I say Gwen, you say…: QUEEN. I love her the most in season 1 tbh.
Favorite Gwen moment: Definitely all the moments she has with Merlin because she's just so awkward and NICE :D I love the one where Merlin asks about her father in 1x03 and she's like "wait how do you know that he's better" and Merlin's like "I'm a psychic" :D Both Merlin and Gwen were adorable there. As they were in every other episode basically :D
Your thought when seeing Morgana for the first time: KATIEEEE!! :D I know I keep saying it about every character so far but god I LOVE her :D
I say Morgana, you say…: QUEEN. I'm saying it again, I love her! She doesn't know yet how much pain she'll go through in the future, she doesn't even know she has magic and she suffers alone :( at least she's got Gwen <3
Favorite Morgana moment: I'm trying to think of a moment where she was happy and not yelled at by Uther :/ Probably the one where she accepts the flowers from Gwen in 1x03 and smiles at her, or the one in 1x10 when she and Gwen hug after the battle with Kanen

Favorite Uther moment: Can I even have a favourite Uther moment?? :D OOOOH yes I can I just remembered! The one in 1x09 when he fights instead of Arthur and Merlin has to give him Excalibur and Uther tells Merlin he's glad that there's a "bond" between Arthur and Merlin :D Also the moment after he wins when he tells Arthur that he loves him and wouldn't wish for another son because that's like the nicest he's ever been and will ever be to Arthur <3
Your thought when seeing Gaius for the first time: Hello there! Don't fall when Merlin enters!
I say Gaius, you say…: I'm so glad he was there for Merlin, but honestly he could have been there for Morgana too :(

Your thought when seeing the dragon for the first time: I know a lot of people don't like him but I love dragons in general so I always get a little excited when I see one :D
I say Dragon, you say…: He could have been so much more helpful tbh :D
Favorite Dragon moment: I love when he's like "ugh what is it now young warlock" and then laughs or pretends to be asleep just because he's bored :D Did he pretend to be asleep this season? Or is that in some of the future seasons? I can't remember what episode :D
Your thought when seeing Baby Mordred for the first time: ANOTHER BABY!
I say Baby Mordred, you say…: A BABY! There's nothing else to say, that's my reaction EVERY damn time I see Asa on the screen . . . well maybe not anymore since I've seen Sex Education, but definitely in Merlin :D
Favorite Baby Mordred moment: Well he doesn't do much in the episode . . . probably when he meets Merlin for the first time and runs to him
A scene you wish they would have included: Gaius being more honest with Morgana about her dreams? Arthur learning about Excalibur? I'm sure there are more
Favorite series one moment: The hardest question yet :D I guess I'll go with the Merlin/Arthur first meeting again, I love that one <3
Any other thoughts about series one that you would like to share?: I love how they're all (mostly) happy in the first season, and so young and innocent and they just don't know what's coming yet, and the story is just beginning and I just love season one :D
When did you watch Merlin for the first time?: I think sometime in 2010 or 2011? I'm not sure, I was like 12 or 13 and I found it on tv with my dad and my whole family started watching it (not in English though, not yet) and wow it's so long ago
Rate the episodes from favourite to least favourite: I kind of already did this for question one but not for all the episodes :D I don't think it's even possible, at least for me, I love so many of them :D The ones I like the most would be: 1x01, 1x04, 1x10, 1x08, 1x11, I also really like 1x07 and I don't even know why?? and then 1x13 because Merlin's willing to die for Arthur and that's a lot after his "if anyone wants to kill him, they can go ahead, in fact, I'll give them a hand" in 1x01 :)
